North Shore Waterfall & Adventure

Experience the North Shore countryside, Hawaii Forest & Trail style. Start the day with a swim in the life-giving water, of kamananui stream underneath the Waimea valley waterfall. Stroll through the lush botanical garden as your naturalist guide illuminates the landscape through storytelling. Cruise down the coast to a secluded beach. What North Shore day would be complete without a shrimp truck plate lunch? Dine with a truck that farms their own shrimp from a modern 36-acre pond in Kahuku. From modern shrimp farming, visit a traditional 10 acre restored traditional Hawaiian fishpond in the heart of Haleiwa. Gain hands-on understanding of how the Hawaiian people sustainably supported their communities through aquaculture. Cap off the day with a stroll through historic Haleiwa town -- home to surf culture, local boutiques, and of course, shave ice. Highlights Include: • Swim under a 30+ foot waterfall. • Sink your toes into the golden sand of a secluded beach • Dine at a shrimp truck. • Learn about aqua culture at the Loki E’a • Explore the boutiques and eateries of Haleiwa

Activity: Short walk under 2 miles. Rated easy to moderate with several short climbs. Optional waterfall swim. Dress Code: Guests may wear closed-toe walking shoes, reef walkers, sports sandals, or flip flops. We recommend wearing a bathing suit under clothing and bringing a hat. Restrictions: Physical— Must be able to walk over uneven, muddy, or slippery terrain and up short climbs. Not recommended for those with back or neck problems or for pregnant women. Age— Children under 3 years old must be carried in a backpack carrier. Includes: Exclusive access property fee, lunch, water, snacks, hiking sticks, daypacks, and raingear.
